Steven Raheb

About

An experienced obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Steven Raheb is an Adjunct Professor of Biology and Human Sciences at Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson, Connecticut. Prior to joining the college's faculty, Dr. Steven Raheb maintained affiliation with the Day Kimball Hospital OB/GYN department for 25 years, during which time he served two decades as its vice chairman. He also had courtesy privileges with the University of Connecticut Health Center and the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

In addition to his hospital affiliations, Dr. Steven Raheb spent nearly 20 years working as physician and president at The Women's Health Center of Putnam. A former lieutenant commander in the United States Navy Reserve, he also worked two years at the United States Naval Hospital in the Subic Bay, Philippines and completed his medical residency and internship at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego. He earned his doctor of medicine from the Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Dr. Raheb is a member of the American Legion and serves on the Board of Directors for the Woodstock Agricultural Society as well as the Executive Board of Directors. He is a previous member of Rotary International and his hobbies include glass blowing and hand thrown ceramics as well as enjoying his small "Gentleman's" farm.
